I put up a Hummingbird Feeder (CA Bay Area Peninsula)a few days ago and immediately noticed a pair of Doves and also a pair of finches were curious and lingering around. I want to add a seed feeder for them so they feel welcomed, but what type of feeder is recommended when we also have many squirrels that pass through our balcony? I don't want to put up a platform feeder of seed to get splattered everywhere should a curious squirrel stop by. Thanks!
