		<description>Hi Scott,&lt;br/&gt;The one in the middle is an avocet and the two on the outside are black-necked stilts.  I don't get to see them in Oregon too often but was just in the Oakland, CA, area and saw a ton.  Gorgeous!</description>

		<description>Nice guess!  They do look a lot like avocets.  It is hard to tell for sure from the picture, but it certainly looks like you are right on.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;And yes, it is nice to see prices going down....now if only oil prices did this...</description>

At the risk of making a fool of myself, are your mystery birds avocets? I've never seen them personally, but I've seen pictures and they seem similar if not the same.</description>
